Merrick McWherter is a second-year grad student getting her MFA in Acting at Academy of Art University. She also has a BA in Acting from Concordia University, Chicago,

Ever since the age of five, after watching her cousins perform on stage, Merrick knew that being on stage or entertaining people is what she wanted to do. At the age of seven, she started going to theater camps and participated in every school play in elementary school and high school.

Merrick has been previously seen on stage in Eurydice as Big Stone, the Eternal Feminine in Wittenberg, Meg in Crimes of the Heart, Catherine in Enemy of the People and Titania and Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She has done voice work for the Theatrophone Podcast.

Merrick would like to thank her friends and family for their love and support. Also, a special shouto-out to Andy Sinclair, Stephanie Stroud, and Jason Narvy, for their advice, guidance, and wisdom.
