Fashion designer Eliana Smith was born in Cordoba, Argentina and moved to the states with her family when she was young. She was accepted to the Academy of Art University’s MFA program after receiving an associates degree from the SLC Fashion Institute and a BA in vocal performance from the University of Utah. Eliana’s upbringing was deeply embedded in European tradition, with an emphasis in the arts, learning how to design clothing from a young age. At the academy she refined her tailoring stills and grew to love the niche market of fine-tailored women’s outerwear.

Inspired by the mundane simplicity around us, her designs are always playful and unexpectedly modern, reminiscent of couture, yet with an ease and accessibility found in ready-to-wear. Eliana’s ultimate goal as a designer is to always celebrate women who have their own particular way of relating to the world. At the heart of Eliana’s pieces will always be a commitment to quality and craft, ethically-sourced work, and inclusive beauty.
