Kathleen Qiu is a Bay Area based artist and costume designer who’s credits include How to Transcend a Happy Marriage, Passion, How I Learned to Drive and The House of Yes (Custom Made Theatre Co), An Invitation Out, Universal Robots (Quantum Dragon),The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley (City Lights), Sweat (Pear Theatre), Unholy Trinity (EXIT Theatre), Where the Mountain Meets the Moon (Bay Area Children’s Theatre), Hickorydickory, Shoggoths on the Veldt (Dragon Productions), The Glass Menagerie, Honky (Role Players Ensemble), Orfeo ed Euridice (West Edge Opera), The Fit, You Mean to Do Me Harm (SF Playhouse), and Two Mile Hollow (Ferocious Lotus). She was nominated for a San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle award for Best Costume Design in a house with fewer than 100 seats for Passion, which also won for Best Production in San Francisco. She received her MFA in Costume Design from the Academy of Art University.
