Hello, my name is Sammy lee and I am a fashion designer.

I am fueled by creativity and hard work and governed by good work ethics and vision. Always growing and always eager to learn, I design and create garments using innovative, sustainable and progressive practices while being receptive to new trends and skills emerging in the fashion and tech industry. I celebrate fashion every day either through my pen and paper, walking on the streets of busy San Francisco, or at home with my sewing machine, by identifying the key differences that deem individuals or objects apart from each other and striving to eradicate them because there is more correspondence within our world than what separates us. We can’t let fashion lose touch with society.

Patch-working, color-blocking, and fabric manipulation are the techniques that allow me to build my personal style from daily interactions and experiences into my designs.

I am governed by our Earth’s limited resources. Being sustainable is a huge principle in how I work, play, and design. I typically lean towards upcycling used clothes or putting together scraps of fabric together to create a one of a kind piece.
