Adriana Georgiades
Adriana Georgiades is a fashion journalist concerned with examining our social, political and environmental landscape through the lens of fashion. Whether it’s deciphering the political meaning embedded in garments, tracing world history through clothing choices, or tackling the industry’s unhealthy beauty standards and environmental devastation, she believes fashion journalism is about more than simply reporting trends.
Adriana was born and raised in South Africa, where she completed her undergrad in English Literature and Journalism & Media Studies. Since moving to San Francisco to pursue her master's degree, she has enjoyed a number of exciting ventures in her writing career, including reporting on New York Fashion Week, winning two journalism scholarship contests, and serving a six-month internship at The RealReal.
