My name is Yuan Jen Yu, and I started my art career drawing dogs, cats, birds, crocodiles, and dragons on the walls in every corner of my parents’ home. I then went on to study oil painting, traditional Chinese painting, calligraphy, drawing, watercolours, and printmaking. For the last several years, I have been studying all forms of traditional sculpture, Zbrush, 3D modeling, Substance painter, Maya, and Adobe Suite. I am currently thrilled to be learning Blender and Clarisse IFX.

I get my inspiration from my dream life and from great artists such as da Vinci and Michelangelo as well as from storybook illustrations, manga, mythology, fantasy movies, video games, and nature. My current role models are Simon Lee and Steve Wang.

I am excited to work on projects that inspire awe, amazement, fantasy, imagination, and the world of dreams through storytelling. I want the audience to experience something beyond incredible.
