Andrew Schlecht

My name is Andrew Schlecht, and I am currently pursuing an MFA degree in Industrial Design. My undergraduate degree is in Sustainable Product Design and Innovation. After graduating, I worked at a leading Life Science company in Boston as a 3D CAD designer. After two years, I realized that I love ideating, designing, and creating new concepts and consumer products, so I decided to pursue an advanced degree at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Tooth Bike Saddle
Tooth Bike Saddles was a project I worked on for my Design Project 1 class in Spring 2020. I was tasked with the challenge of creating a new product using a unique material, and then carry out the entire design process while staying true to this initial material choice.
