Sumistha Das
My name is Sumistha Das, and I am an Industrial Design student pursuing my BFA in Industrial Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. In 2019, I became a finalist for both the IDSA and Spark Awards, based on my innovative product designs in healthcare space.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and my prior work experience includes five years as a Retail Operations Executive at Landmark Group in Dubai.
In my free time, I am a nature enthusiast and a wildlife photographer. Moreover, I am proud to have visited each of the seven continents.
Nike Ascend
Nike Ascend is a line of speed climbing gear consisting of shoes and gloves. The design evokes objects that appear to defy gravity. The lightweight Ascend shoes offers pro-athletes an exact fit and better movement to help them achieve their highest performance. Ascend gloves give younger athletes a better grip so that they can take their game to the next level. Ascend is a brand-new category from Nike and will launch during the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
