Students in the School of Interior Architecture and Design were tasked with transforming six existing rental units, on Treasure Island, to serve as transitional housing for wrongly incarcerated survivors of domestic violence. The project was inserted as a team project in our IAD 410 Social Design class, and students worked in collaboration with local industry partners to create the beautiful homes these women deserve.
