I decided to pursue Interior Architecture and Design because of the glaring statistic that we, as humans, spend around 90% of our lives indoors. I'm surrounded by design elements, materials, and principles that have changed throughout history. The interior elements and decisions made for our built environment are not always suited for everyone. I believe that design has a profound effect in who I am and how I live in my environment, as well as everyone else.
