Elisa Payer

Industrial Design / BFA

Elisa Payer is a graduating Industrial Design student focusing on footwear and functional apparel. She has been creating since she can remember, as she grew up in a silent world—due to her hearing loss—and she hopes to empower other human beings through her creations. Her successes include such honors as the IDSA Student Merit Award, IDA Award, and internships at Mattel, Whipsaw, Under Armour and Deckers Brands; moreover, she was selected as a speaker at SQ1CON 2019 by Advanced Design and was recently nominated as a Valedictorian candidate for the Academy of Art University’s graduating class of 2020. It is Elisa’s life purpose to support humanity, improve individual lives, and inspire others. Her early and prolific design career demonstrates that creativity is simply in her blood.
